Today we take what we have been doing for years by referrals and reach out to the world. Thanks for joining us on the beginning of this public facing journey. Maybe we can help you with a different solution, idea, or some content that challenges you. Here we go!
For years, I have been developing a team, solving problems for individuals, companies, churches and non-profits around the world. Sometimes it was because I was hungry and I thought I could fix things and other times it was because someone had a need. My friend, Mark, says that I should have named this effort “The Fixer.” Others would have stiffer names like “The Pusher” or the “The Annoyance.”
Regardless, what started out as a junior businessman who blindly believed that he could solve anything with enough time became a lifetime. I stumbled into a Decision Sciences degree or two. I studied leadership. I solved my way up the corporate ladder to work with the board of a regional bank. Then I began a second career as a leader of volunteers and business in non-profits. Corporate turnarounds and quick one off solutions expanded into speaking, leading, and coaching. It really didn’t matter where I was or what I was doing — I just loved people, solving problems, taking the impossible and making it possible.
I have been blessed to be part of some incredible efforts and successes around the world. It has been a good life. Pushed by clients, friends, and partners to open myself up to doing more of what I thrive at — Different.ly was born. Here’s where we are headed on the public side of this long journey.
- We are going to begin publishing the many stories, solutions, methods, and content that has been piling up for years.
- We are currently working on two new works: how to build a bullet proof culture; and, how we make decisions.
- We are now actually taking on clients instead of just bumping into them. I have set a new schedule and we are trying to reach out to do what we love proactively.
So there are the three action items for our public launch. We will be publishing on Monday’s and Wednesday’s as we ramp up sharing the content that has piled up over the years. As the content increases, we will categorize it more appropriately. Today we just get going and we hope you will follow us, cheer us on, and hope the best for us.
